An electric cooler will drop the ambient temperature up to 40°F. So if you’re traveling in a hot 100° day, the cooler will only chill to 60°F. While that is great for a road trip, it is not a good long term solution for life on the road. We do not recommend using a Kingclimaelectric cooler for full time travel because they do not get cold enough.
